Kapil Sharma is a Punjabi and funky guy. He was born to an Amritsar-based Punjabi family on 2 April 1981. Kapil’s father (Mr. K. Sharma) is a producer.

Kapil Sharma has a very good voice and has a sense of the seven notes (the basics of singing). He has sung many songs on the sets of various comedy shows during his acts which have been highly admired by his followers.nHe is a free-minded person who is too fond of watching movies and comedy. Kapil is an extremely talented person as he says in his statement that he is not just a stand-up comedian. Since childhood, he had a dream of becoming a singer.

Kapil Sharma is a family-oriented family who likes to keep his family fresh and active with smiles on their faces. Kapil Sharma has not married yet and is stuck to single status. However, it is rumored and said that Kapil Sharma’s wife will be Preeti Simoes.

Career as Stand-up Comedian

Kapil started his television career in the year 2005. However, before his television debut, he has worked too hard. He had done serious theaters and comedy shows (for free). He says that his hard work has made him a good person.

On television, Kapil was seen first seen on Ustaadon Ka Ustaad show (2008). He was first known as Shamsher Singh (A Punjabi cop character) and Lala Roshan Lal. He had given many performances on the Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3. Later on, he went to the Comedy Circus, where he became famous and gained a huge fan following.
