Blogging Tips

How To Be Sure That Your Best Content Is Seen?

Let’s take for example that you have hundreds of posts on your blog. You have also a huge audience that gets bigger day by day. How can you be sure that your new audience finds the nitty-gritty posts that you already have in addition to add new content?

Here you have 7 different things that you can do on your blog recur to the new subscribers.

  • Getting Started Page

The words tell itself.

This is a page dedicated only to your new visitors coming each and every day.

On this particular page, you won’t only give links to the best resources that you have.

You can also guide about what’s going on. For example, if you share blogging income, this would be a great place to tell about it.

Patt Flynn has a great Getting Started Page where you can come up with a lot of ideas.

  • Best Of Page

You may have seen this is many different blogs. This is a common thing that most of the bloggers do.

There you can break your site’s content into pieces like categories, some of the best posts.

Here’s how Janice from MostlyBlogging does it.

Then you can talk about this page on your social media accounts, you can link to it, mention it on emails.

This way it becomes like a hub on your website.

Remember that it will pass also link juice to the categories and other links in there.

  • Making a SpreadSheet

Having a spreadsheet will help you to organize better your new blog posts.

This will not help your audience directly but indirectly.

What am I talking about?

I was told to use this method by a good friend of mine Grant McArthur which is also a known SEO over Glasgow.

You can create an Excel SpreadSheet or something easier if you want. It just needs to have all of your content down there.

So if you make a new post about “How To Get Traffic From Quora”. If you have already written content related to that ex. “9 SEO Tips For More Organic Traffic”. You can link it there.

Makes sense now?

Hint: You could use the sitemap to check all of your content if you have already one.

  • Auto Responder Email

If you have an email list. This could be huge.

All that you need to do is to leave a link or a maximum 2 of some of the posts you wanna promote.

You could change that time by time. Just to turn your visitors into different blog posts.

Here’s an Idea.

  • Resource Page

This is the page where you share with your audience the product or courses that you have. But also you could recommend products.

It can lead to many affiliate sales. In fact, a lot of bloggers use this as their only income method.

As for giving blog posts links here. I wouldn’t exaggerate with many links like you can on the getting started page. You should link only to the most quality content you have.

  • Make It Shine

This is a strategy that is not followed only by bloggers or even on the internet.

As I remember when I was a little old kid I read a lot of newspapers. Sometimes I have seen particularly the same content twice.

You can resurface a popular topic that you have written a long time ago and write it again. I’m not saying to copy and paste it completely but you could some key points here and there just to stay on topic.

It would great if you notify the readers that you published this before. This is a common thing, especially in the internet era where things evaluate so much.

  • Social Media

I have left the easiest part at the end, lol but let me say a word.

This could be the most beneficial of all the techniques combined, of course, if you have massive followers there.

Hint: You can also schedule posts and tweets on social media. For Example, every Sunday, you share an old post.

Sum It Up

I know that’s there is a great dilemma for bloggers to this particular question.

However, I would say don’t worry. If the content it’s great somehow you will find a way to bring it back to the surface.

You could actually use all of the pages that I mentioned here. Getting Started Page, Best Of Page, and Resources Page. You can link them to each other and spread links to them.

That’s it. I hope I have helped you a little bit.

P.S I almost forgot this great method that Neil Patel uses on QuickSprout. Putting them into the sidebar.

That’s all in this article. Do not forget to share it with your friends. What else could be added to our list? Do let us know your views and comments in the comment section below.
