Pakistan seems to be more conscious about his home cinema and film city. Recent reports have alleged that distributors and exhibitors in Pakistan have abandoned ShahRukh Khan-starrer ‘Chennai Express’ and Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai – 2’. Both these movies were scheduled to release on the day of Eid, August 8, in the country. The reason given for this ban is that the Pakistani filmmakers want four of their films- ‘Josh’, ‘Ishq Khuda’, ‘War’ and ‘Mera Naam Afridi’ – to get more visibility and popularity than the Indian films. However different specialists and distributors are very disappointed with this decision.
