NEW DELHI: Are you a big fan of Nokia? Want to buy a windows smartphone, but confused about its features and budget? There is a good reliefing news for the fans. Nokia is said to be heading to the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013, scheduled for February 25-28, with two affordable Windows Phone 8-based smartphones, namely Lumia 520 and 720.
There are also certain rumours that Nokia will also unveil its first tablet at the MWC press event. Therefore, the Finnish phone maker may unveil a total of five gadgets at the world’s biggest event for mobile devices. Last year, it unveiled Nokia 808 PureView, the phone with the 41MP camera, along with Lumia 610.

Alan Mendelvich, who founded AdDuplex, the popular cross-promotion platform for Windows 8 and Windows Phone app, tweeted that he saw four new Nokia phones on his platform’s logs. He named two of the four devices as Lumia 520 and 720, while speculation is rife that the other two can be the Lumia with 41MP PureView camera and the ultra-thin Lumia 920 successor with aluminium body.
Rumours say that Nokia Lumia 720 is codenamed Zeal and has a 4.3-inch screen with ClearBlack Display technology. It is said to be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 512MB RAM. This rumoured smartphone is said to have 8GB internal storage, support microSD cards and be compatible with HSPA+ network. The rear camera of the phone is said to have a 6MP sensor, while a 2MP unit is used in the front.
Coming to Lumia 520, this device has been reportedly codenamed Flame and features a 4-inch Super Sensitive screen, a 5MP rear camera and no front camera. Rumours say Nokia has used a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM in this phone, which has 8GB internal storage and supports microSD cards.
Considering that Lumia 710 and 510 are priced at Rs 13,000 and Rs 10,000 in India, respectively, the upcoming phones are likely to be affordable as well.
