PANAJI: The 2014 elections are drawing near. Political parties have started using satirical nature against their opponent parties. Such piece of scene was seen when one of the opponent minister alleged that Modi is not a factor for the Congress, only for the media; and the so-called development of Gujarat is not the truth, only hype.
The anti-Modi tirade came from AICC general secretary and new Goa desk in-charge Digvijaya Singh who arrived here for a two-day visit to revitalize the party.
Digvijaya Singh also dismissed the recent references to Modi saying “he is not a Rambo, he is a feku. He is not a challenge to us.”
To Justify his claim that the development of Gujarat was just hype, Singh said that Gujarat has the highest per capita loan in the country and Rs 1,42,000 crore loan on the Gujarat government. Gujarat does not figure in the first three states which attracted investments in the last few years nor in the first three states which attracted FDI, Singh said.
He said the pro-Modi hype was generated by a Washington-based PR agency for which the government of Gujarat paid US dollars 25,000, Singh said.
