Are you always worried about losing your phone? There is good news for the Android users. You can now find your lost android phone using Google Search. Google is continuously making efforts to increase the security on Android devices. Google recently introduced a new feature which can track down any Android phone or tablet by simply using ‘Google Search’.
Let us discuss how Google Search exactly works to find your lost Android phone –
Step 1: The basic requirement for this is you should be using same Google account on your PC and Android phone or tablet.
Step 2: Go to Google.com and type in ‘find my phone’ in the Google Search bar. As soon as you hit enter, it will ask you to sign into your Google account (if you are not already signed in). Then Google will start locating your phone on Google Maps. It will take few seconds and voila! Your phone’s precise location will be right in front of you. It even shows how far it is from where you are sitting. Isn’t it just fantastic!
This is not over. It has ‘Ring’ option as well. In our daily routine we misplace the phone – in bedroom, car, study room etc. In these cases you can use this and can call your mobile. It will ring for maximum of 5 minutes at first attempt. Users can stop the ringing by pressing the handset’s power button.
Isn’t it great! Try locating your phone now and have fun 🙂
