This invite says “So big can be small and so small can be big” and “Get ready for a little sensation” in German. Bangalore: India’s advanced GSAT-10 communication satellite was successfully launched on board Ariane-5 rocket from Europe’s spaceport in French Guiana in South America and declared the launch of Indian space agency’s 101st space mission a success.
GSAT-10, with a design life of 15 years is expected to augment telecommunication, direct-to-home broadcasting and radio navigation services services by adding 30 more to the much-in-demand transponder capacity, now hit by a crunch. [Read more…]
Many robots have been invented all over the world and all perform their predescribed tasks. A new robot has been invented by Japan that keeps the ability of swimming. The team,led by associate professor Motomu Nakashima, at the Tokyo University of Technology has created a ‘Swumanoid’ robot using a 3D scanner to perfectly map a human swimmer’s physique. It has perfected the back-stroke and tries freestyle swimming,with 20 waterproof, computer-controlled motors providing the swimming motion making it possible to create swimming robot. [Read more…]
